Kanha Tiger Reserve

The Kanha National Park and Tiger Reserve located in the dense forests of Madhya Pradesh, India, has enchanted wildlife lovers and nature enthusiasts the world over. The sight of a free roaming magnificent and elusive Royal  Bengal  Tiger stealthily appearing from the dense forest bushes on to the muddy safari trail and gazing at you with disdain  is an unforgettable experience. Other commonly seen wildlife includes Barasingha, Dhole (wild dog), Sambhar Deer, Sloth Bear, Indian Gaur, Indian Flying Squirrel etc. The Park is also home to a variety of avian fauna like Racket Tailed Drongo , Crested Serpent Eagle , Indian Scops Owl, Peacock etc. The pristine forests, grass meadows, the towering  evergreen Sal trees, the unpolluted crisp air, the ambient temperature, the crystal clear water bodies, the star filled night skies, the melodious chirps of a variety of birds and as night descends, the frequent alarm calls of wild ungulates coupled with the reverberating growl of a Tiger articulating it’s presence beckon nature lovers from far and near to the jungles of Kanha
